The Homeschool Advantage Apprenticeship Program
We believe strongly that men should prepare their sons to be entrepreneurs. If they are running their own business, their sons need to be learning entrepreneurial skills as they work alongside their fathers. If a father does not own his own business and does not have the time help his son build one, apprenticeship with a Godly patriarch is a good alternative.
The Homeschool Advantage Productions offers two apprenticeship programs for homeschool students and graduates; one for Website Developer and one for Television Advertising Producer. The objective of each program is to help the apprentice start his own business, with The Homeschool Advantage Productions as his first client.
Unless the apprentice lives in the local area, he will live in our home under the direct supervision of me and my son, Alan. He will be expected to participate in the family schedule, including morning exercise, morning worship, and household chores. His primary duties, however, will involve work in either Television or Website Development. Should he wish to follow the program to its completion, once he has mastered the skills to become a journeyman producer or developer, we will meet with his father to help them develop a business plan to start their own business. The Homeschool Advantage will be their first client.
