Trip One of Three to Begin June 25

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans..." James 1:27

These 5 gypsy children, four brothers and their sister, are in two separate orphanages in Riga, Latvia. They need to be reunited with each other, and they need a loving home with a father and mother. With God's help, they will become a part of our family in October.

Bret & Jacqueline will be leaving on June 25, 2007 to spend 3 weeks in Riga with the children. About 4 weeks later, Jacqueline will return to appear in court at the adoption hearing. Once the Latvian adoption is finalized, we will apply to the US Consulate in Warsaw for immigration visas. When these are ready -- probably the first of October -- Jacqueline will return to Riga to pick up the children and take them by train to Warsaw, where they will be issued US passports.
